Tom Attwood

Tom Attwood is a graduate of Manchester University. He was appointed to the board of Directors of ICG as a non-executive in June 1993 before joining full time as a Managing Director in April 1996. Before joining ICG he was a director of James Capel & Co. He worked for James Capel for eight years and was responsible for the growth of their IPO business and in particular was responsible for the growth in the European market for LBO flotations. He worked with ICG's founders in raising the initial equity for ICG in 1989. Tom is the Chairman of both the Executive Committee and the Board of Intermediate Capital Managers Limited, ICG's fund management company.  Tom's outside interests include golf, shooting, wine and horses; that is when his family of five leave him any time.
